The tank bromeliads Catopsis hahnii and C. floribunda were completely absent at very low impact levels but increased towards high impact levels; however, C. hahnii was absent at very high impact levels.
The highest abundance of this species was observed at very high impact levels, at the middle canopy (20 30 m).
Most individuals of C. hahnii were found between 40 and 60 m at medium impact levels and between 40 and 50 m at high impact levels.
At low impact levels T. butzii abundance was highest at the middle and upper canopy (40 50 m); at high and very high impact levels, the highest abundance shifted towards lower canopy branches (20 40 m).
The abundance of the fern Pleopeltis mexicana was highest at branches located between 20 and 40 m in low impact levels; it was almost completely absent at medium, high and very high impact levels.
The result implies that cluster three which contains market, finance and raw material factors show with highest impact level and factors in cluster one which includes leadership, entrepreneurship, technology and related factors show lowest impact level to MSEs performance.
All items have a polytomous response format (range 1 5), with higher scores indicating higher impact level.
The physical impact dimension (MSIS-29-PHYS: consisting of 20 items) and the psychological impact dimension (MSIS-29-PSYCH: consisting of nine items) measure related, but distinct, constructs (correlatingr r = 0.62), yielding two separate scale scores, with higher scores indicating higher impact level [ 18].
Thus, the alpha value was higher in the Validation Sample, which reported a higher impact level in all dimensions, but this does not imply that the instrument would be less valid in populations with a lower impact level, such as the Working Sample.
