Two trial Z-phase strengthened steels were investigated, Z-steel with ultra-low C content, and ZCuC-steel with relatively high C content and Cu addition.
The relatively high C content in the ZCuC-steel resulted in the formation of two categories of MX: Ta(C, N) and TaN.
By analyzing the screen results of all four cell lines (Supplementary Fig. 2), we found that a high G content in the seed correlated better with toxicity than a high C content.
We report that the most toxic 6mer seeds are G-rich with a G enrichment towards the 5′ end targeting SGs with a high C content in their 3′UTR in a miRNA-like manner.
The low friction coefficient and the formation of a transfer layer correspond to the low wear rate for the TiCN coatings with high C content.
Due to its high C content, coal particles present in these soils may lead to overestimation of pools and sequestration rates, and can also represent a large C background against which small changes in recent OC must be measured.

As indicated by the pattern of the 13C NMR spectra and the high C contents of the subsoil, the partially degraded PyOM seems to have lost its attractiveness to microbial attack with ongoing downward movement and accumulation.
The carbonaceous components are generally not visible at the outcrop scale, although cherts characterized by high C contents may present a matte black appearance (Fig. 7a).
An enrichment of the exact seed matches in 3′UTRs was consistent with the overall higher C content of 3′UTRs of SGs when compared to non-SGs (different peak maxima in Fig. 3c).
The higher temperature led to the higher C content, lower H/C and O/C ratio, whereas the ash content increased with increasing KMnO4 concentration, causing the increase of solid yield as well as the decrease of C content.
The highest C content was found under grazed grasslands and, among soil orders, in Allophanic soils, which had the largest CHF-mobile and CHF-residuum contents.
