In the U.S., people often want to learn new languages in order to travel, as a self-improvement project or to reconnect with their heritage, for example.
It is not to be ruled out that our biological heritage, for example, has fixed a range of beliefs in us whose reliability owes nothing to our individual ontogenetic experience.
The term may be relatively new but the concept has a longer heritage; for example, the linking of agricultural research to agricultural extension services to enhance national farm production in the USA early in the 20th century [ 4].
And other arrangements are possible – giving local people themselves ownership of heritage forests, for example, under a voucher-privatisation plan.
The savage assault on the English Heritage budget, for example, has forced it to close its access department which had successfully opened up history and heritage for thousands of inner-city children.
Hence, it is an important challenge for public health but also for the preservation of cultural heritage, as for example, artworks in museum showcases and other cultural objects.
PGAA has previously been used on other archaeological and heritage objects; for example, to analyse bulk composition of silver coins (Kasztovszky et al. 2005), other metals (Kasztovszky et al. 2000) and stone artefacts (Kasztovszky et al. 2008).
Of course, they are no longer dominant because of the need here for density, but there are some fantastic examples of heritage buildings being renewed into art spaces.
A formal evaluation of these two examples of heritage (quality seal vs. transparency seal) is mandatory to check their respective hypothetical added value.
