Has his confidence been shaken by that fall or is he just operating a safety-first policy, safe in the knowledge that he'll almost certainly take a couple of minutes out of his main rivals?
At the Tokuda hospital, 34-year-old vascular surgeon Dimitar Balezdrov patrols the wards in his sky-blue scrubs, checking the blood pressure of an elderly patient he has just operated on.
Businesses with finite variability are not inferior per se, they just operate under different constraints.
"It just operates on a different timetable.
They get those people in, and everybody around here just operates as usual.
"I've always felt he just, like, operates at levels that I couldn't even begin to fathom with my simple Wisconsin mind," says VandeHei, an Oshkosh native.
