HCB (1.6, 4, and 16 mg/kg of body weight) has been administered orally to meriones for 30 days.
Complex 2 exhibits a hcb 2D-network, which is further assembled into a 3D supramolecular framework through hydrogen bonding interactions, while complex 3 shows an unprecedented 3-nodal (3,4,6 -connected 3,4,6 -connectedh the Schläfli symbol (62·7)2(64·75·84·9·10)(64·82).
The cockle shells were ground into powder using a blender (Blender HCB, 550, USA) and sieved with a stainless laboratory test sieve (Endecott Ltd., made in London, England) with the aperture of 90 μm to obtain micron-size powder.

Serum samples were extracted and analyzed for polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and organochlorine pesticides [chlordanes, hexachlorohexanes (HCHs), hexachlorobenzene (HCB), 1,1,1-trichloro-2,2-bis p-chlorophenyl)ethane (p,p´-DDT) and its metabolites (DDTs), and toxaphenes].
However, total porphyrins, coproporphyrin I (CPI), and coproporphyrin III (CPIII) adjusted to creatinine excretion increased with increasing levels of HCB, 1,1-dichloro-2,2-bis(4-chlorophenyl)ethylene (p, p′-DDE), 1,1,1-trichloro-2,2-bis(4-chlorophenyl)ethane (p, p′-DDT), and polychlorinated biphenyl congener 153 (PCB-153).
βHCH was also moderately correlated with p, p´-DDE (0.58) and HCB (0.54).
Mapping to our protein interaction network, we were left with 393 HCB, 385 CGC, and 4,791 HCR genes, respectively.
Notably, cytosolic levels of Drp1 declined after HCb (P<0.01 Ctrl versus HCb24h; Supplementary Figure 1c), confirming the translocation of Drp1 from the cytosol to the mitochondria.
In contrast, in HCb mice (which have higher levels of calcineurin activity versus Ctrl; Figures 2a and 5a), rapamycin further enhanced calcineurin activity only at 12 h after HCb (P<0.05, HCb12h+S versus HCb12h+R; Figure 5a).
