"That's why they have siestas in Spain, isn't it?" It was, of course, all too brief.

"We used to have a siesta, to sleep all afternoon, to eat well," she said.
The striker Kiko, a former team-mate, recalls Simeone refusing to let the players have a siesta before one vital game because he simply could not understand how they could sleep.
