India has a large private sector, with more healthcare providers than the public sector, but they mostly practice in urban, well-to-do areas (GOI 2005; De Costa and Diwan 2007).
Belgium also has a large banking sector that was bailed out by the government in 2008 amid a crisis, and whose assets represent about 340 percent of G.D.P. Banks like Dexia and KBC are the biggest holders in the Benelux countries of debt in Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain, but they have taken steps to reduce their exposure.
It also has a large agricultural sector featuring livestock and grain.
In addition, Rwanda has a large public-sector distribution network and well-established community-based distribution (CBD) programs that cover the entire country.
In Germany, which also has a large, troubled banking sector with political patrons, forcing change has proven a lot more difficult.
Spain still has a large private education sector, almost all of which is Catholic, but since the 1960s the predominance of the state has been clearly established, especially in secondary education.
Antisubsidy cases also tend to be easier to win against China, because China has a large state-controlled sector, including banking, with a lot of money moving back and forth between private companies and the government.
Norway has a large public service sector compared to other European countries, but the largest service is the municipality the health services [ 12].
Outside of the RNTCP, India has a large private health sector that is actively involved in providing TB care (23, 24 ); almost half of patients with TB in India initially seek care from the private sector (22 ).
Scotland also has a larger public sector than the rest of the UK, and so the Scottish government would have to make relatively higher employer contributions.
