Republicans in Montana are advertising on behalf of their Senate candidate, noting his stance against a Republican plan "that could harm the Medicare program".
While a few commenters were quick to theorize that bringing in a bunch of randoms may somehow harm the developer program, it's essentially been a massive stress/Beta test with millions of Facebook's more technically savvy users as the sample group… for free.

This week, the Montana Republican Party began broadcasting advertisements on behalf of Representative Denny Rehberg, who is running for the Senate, touting his independence: "Rehberg refused to support a Republican budget plan that could harm the Medicare programs so many of Montana's seniors rely on".
That doesn't address the harm these programs do to the user experience of the communication platforms they piggyback on.
Unfortunately, the New York Legislature passed a bottle law last month that not only fails to accomplish these goals but will actually harm the recycling programs New York has.
