Since 9 months of age, she experienced clusters of GTCS during febrile episodes as well as nocturnal seizures with a semiology consisting of straightening up of the body, incoherent language, hypertonia with hand contractions, deviation of the head (mainly on the right), chewing and bruxism.
However, increased facilitation of right ECR MEPs during left-hand contraction (CLF) weakly correlated with increased visuomotor performance in the right hand (r = 0.45, p = 0.013).
Changes in bEMG in the right ECR did not correlate with changes in facilitation of MEPs in the right ECR during left-hand contractions (CLF; r = 0.26, p = 0.216).
