But the Festival Hall has acoustic holes.
"A lot gets in, there's no way around it," says Manseau, a silver-haired pragmatist whose youth was lost patrolling the halls of this hole.
The group, which blends the Bob Marley style with the more modern dance hall sound, is holed up in the studio until its first CD is completed and plans to play at tourist spots along the East Coast this summer.
Of course, TCUK would not at all advise turning up for the evening drinks in the main reception hall and button-holing a luminary, but no doubt some die-hards will be tempted to do just this… ;-).
Some of the architectural features incorporated throughout the castle included: corbelled battlemented wallheads on the towers; turrets set above first or second storey level; a large elongated aperture provided light in the first floor hall; and shot holes in the southwest tower.

In Grip of the Strangler (1958), set in Victorian London, the raunchy can-can dancers and loose women of the sleazy "Judas Hole" music hall are terrorised by the Haymarket Strangler, played by Boris Karloff.
That was in September, and Mr. Toscano has been busy ever since, researching the hall's history, patching holes in the stage, putting new bulbs into the chandelier and the footlight systems (both still work) and trying to persuade potential investors that the space can be restored.
