The phrase 'half site' is not a phrase commonly used in written English.
In most cases, it would make more sense to use the phrase 'halfway site', e.g. The tree is located at a halfway site between the two towns.
This shows that under star conditions DraIII cleaves the canonical half site faster than the star half site, and that it requires one canonical half site for cleavage to occur.
DraIII nicks the 3′ canonical half site at a faster rate than the 5′ star half site, in contrast to the similar rate with the canonical full site.
