As a consequence we abuse nature, drive species to extinction, and destroy ecosystems and habitats without much thought to the consequences.
One hypothesis suggests that flight became unnecessary for ancient birds that colonized habitats without predators, because those birds no longer needed that adaptation to escape.

These results suggest that S. munja would be potentially useful to rehabilitate the FA dumps more efficiently if it is introduced properly on fresh lagoons to convert barren FA deposits into ecologically and socio-economically productive habitats without any inputs or maintenance.
