Jurassic World made $106.6m, the biggest North American second-week gross of all time, last weekend, and has raced to the magic $1bn mark at the global box office in a record 14 days.
Joss Whedon's ensemble outing, which featured Iron Man alongside the Hulk, Captain America and Thor, made it to $1bn in just 19 days and eventually racked up $1.5bn, the third highest gross of all time.
