The Halo Trust, a British NGO, is authorised to clear mines in conflict-free "green zones".
Within the overall structure, the green zones are the iconic places, such as Independence Hall and City Hall.
Before the belated compromise and "people protection" of the surge, there were the Red and Green Zones, "them" and "us".
But because those green zones have been cut and fragmented, there is a danger that scientific reviews could conclude the green zones were ineffective when they were essentially compromised.
Some of these comfort indices were formulated by green zones and it was later possible to find out the required size of such green zones for each district, in order for these to be theoretically considered comfortable.
This methodology is considered valid as a tool for planners of big cities, in the design of green zones.
For example, in fields 1a and b most profitable green zones would turn unprofitable with a $0.50 drop in grain prices.
