In its honour San Francisco has proclaimed next week "West Coast Green Week".
In what looks like a quid pro prince, NBC agreed to broadcast "Harmony" as part of NBC Universal's annual Green Week.
During Green Week, which started on 11 February, Warwick, Surrey, York, East Anglia, Queen Mary's and Royal Holloway universities all participated in Meat Free Monday.
He recently made an appearance in support of Green Week presented by Sprint and the N.B.A. that featured a variety of activities to generate awareness and financing to protect the environment.

He added that the company was just about to launch a "green week" initiative, highlighting the company's environmental efforts and urging customers to join in, for example by cycling to rail stations.
Last week, the European Commission put biodiversity at the center of its annual Green Week conference in Brussels after E.U. environment ministers warned in March against "going beyond the limits of nature," and after heads of state and government endorsed the ministers' pledge to halt biodiversity loss in the Union by 2020 and step up efforts to avert such losses globally.
