Will you get a similar amount of grant aid in subsequent years if your financial circumstances stay the same?
Twenty years ago, students at private, nonprofit colleges received the same amount of grant aid from their institutions as from federal sources.
Even so, NYU maintains that it is working to confront the student debt problem, having more than doubled the amount of grant aid over the past decade to $190 million per year.
