Next in the basal grade of core Lamiales is a clade comprising Plantaginaceae as currently defined [ 28] (PP 1.00, 100% ML BS, 84% MP BS), in which a major split separates two groups from each other.
Features that predict the presence of an invasive focus within DCIS are DCIS of high grade on core histology and increasing number of calcifications on mammography.
However, the values of maximum strains corresponding to the maximum impact load are reduced considerably due to grading of the core properties.
The highest discordance was found in tumours that required chemotherapy (39%, P<0.05), and it was related to an underestimation of histological grade on core biopsies (94%).
Studies that have correlated grade on core biopsy with a subsequent grade at surgery show that it is accurate in about 60% of tumours [ 7].
We then subdivided tumor samples into two groups based on Gleason grades of individual core biopsies, Gleason grade 2 or 3 (Group 1) vs. Gleason grade 4 or 5 (Group 2) [38].
One section form each block was stained with hematoxylin/eosin and examined by a National Board licensed Pathologist for the presence of tumor, including Gleason grading of each individual core.
Therefore, despite the limitations associated with the accuracy of grading core biopsies related to tumor sampling issues and visibility of mitotic figures [ 47, 48], assessment of histological grade on NCB can provide information to support preoperative treatment decision making.
In this study, we also correlated Id-1 and TNF- β with the Gleason score of the tumours and Gleason grade of individual cores.
We found that although Id-1 was again significantly correlated with Gleason grade of individual cores in our cohort (Table 2a, r=0.356, P<0.001), TNF- β did not correlated with either Gleason score of the tumours (r=−0.028, P=0.709) or Gleason grade of the individual cores (Table 2b, r=−0.04, P=0.532).
