In early February 2015, Gold and Stardust were defeated by The Ascension and once again began tensions with Stardust showing his frustrations at Goldust.
Tag-team action now with the creepy Gold & Stardust up against New Day members Big E and Kofi Kingston.
Gold & Stardust were up first against The New Day; Kofi Kingston & Big-E with Xavier Woods at ringside.
The former tag-team champions, Gold & Stardust, were in action next against the new champions, The Miz & Damien Mizdow, in a bid to win their titles back.
The New Day were well in control but when Gold & Stardust appeared and attacked Woods at ringside, Kidd was able to roll up Kingston for the surprise victory.
Cena and Ambrose actually worked well together and when they both went flying through the air to take out the rival teams, they managed to capitalise by both hitting their signature finishing moves on Gold & Stardust.
And then obviously Triple H and Stephanie McMahon came out to throw a spanner in the works; a triple-threat tag-team match between Cena & Ambrose, The Usos, and Gold & Stardust.
A six-man tag-team match followed, with the Usos and Sheamus up against Gold and Stardust & Cesaro.

The following night on Raw, Miz and Mizdow retained the titles against Gold and Stardust.
At Survivor Series, Miz and Mizdow won the WWE Tag Team Championship by winning a Fatal-4-Way match against defending champions Gold and Stardust, The Usos and Los Matadores.
