In studies that presented only the GOLD grade distribution the mean GOLD grade was calculated and converted into a mean FEV1%-predicted.
The effect of these non-COPD diseases on PCS was of approximately the same magnitude as the effect of having COPD GOLD grade 2, but considerably less than the effect of GOLD grade 3 and 4 (fig. 2).
Of the 11 studies that reported on pain prevalence, seven also reported the mean FEV1% predicted and one study reported the GOLD grade distribution, 23 which was converted to a weighted mean GOLD grade (figure 5).
Twenty patients had a score >16, indicating that 22.2% of the patients studied were possible cases of depression (three patients with GOLD grade I, 15 with GOLD grade II, and two patients with GOLD grade III) [ 34].
Subjects with COPD and FEV1 ≥80% predicted were classified as GOLD grade 1; those with COPD and FEV1 <80% but FEV1 ≥50% predicted were classified as GOLD grade 2; those with COPD and FEV1 <50% but FEV1 ≥30% predicted were classified as GOLD grade 3 and those with COPD and FEV1 <30% predicted were classified as GOLD grade 4 [ 18].
This approach improved gold grade significantly due to a drastic reduction in pyrite recovery.
There are a numerous gold deposits, where the recovered silver grade exceeds that of the recovered gold grade so that the silver output in terms of metal produced exceeds that of gold.
We propose that the gold grade in the veins is influenced by the effectiveness of fluid flow into the veins and by time rates during vein propagation and fluid flow.
All fullerenes – C60 of gold grade, C60/C70 (93/7, mix 1), C60/C70 (80 ± 5/20 ± 5, mix 2) and C70 operated as alkyl radical acceptora, whereas fullerene soot surprisingly retarded the model reaction by a dual mode similar to that for the fullerenes and with an induction period like many of the sterically hindered phenolic and amine antioxidants.
