The process used in all three steps of the study have been carefully documented and described, and region- (and to a lesser extent country-) level collaborators have been involved in global-level priority ranking and report writing.
In preparation for the meeting, participants received summaries of individual country- and regional-level priority setting exercises, a background paper detailing the methods and results of country-, regionand and global-level priority setting as well as methods and results of literature scoping, and a spreadsheet presenting the full list of references including abstracts.
