G and C mononucleotide repeat density did not correlate with nucleotide composition and di- and tri-nucleotide repeat densities correlated neither with genomic frequencies nor with di- or tri-nucleotide frequencies calculated over the entire genome (data not shown).
This was carried out by studying the genomic frequencies of small tuples of nucleotides known as oligonucleotides.
It simulates the evolution of the genomic frequencies of a given sequence and all its mismatched forms starting from a given distribution until the equilibrium or any other target.
In spite of all the similarities in genomic frequencies and evolutionary dynamics between H. influenzae and N. gonorrhoeae DUESs, their actual sequence consensuses are different both in shape and composition.
I then test whether uptake bias in itself can explain DUES accumulation by correlating the strength of DUES-like sequences, as estimated from the genomic frequencies of their nucleotides, to the uptake bias in their favor.
Finally, I analyze the distribution of the genomic frequencies of several pro- and eukaryotic sequences to test whether the DUES mode of evolution could be extrapolated to other selectively constrained oligonucleotides.

At the same time, the seed matches are not among the most frequent heptamers in the D. melanogaster genome (e.g., the genomic frequency of the potential seed match in mt:SerGCT is less than half of the top heptamer).
The results, reported in Fig. 4, were normalized to genome length and total SLS genomic frequency.
The former group of microsatellites consistently showed lower frequency in the genome than the latter group, indicating that genomic frequency of microsatellites is negatively influenced by motif heterogeneity of the repeats.
The maximum length of a plasmid sequence should not exceed 2% of that the host genome sequence, as longer sequences may not allow a genomic frequency distribution with ample genomic fragments [ 8, 9].
The resulting collection of SNP contained a mutational ratio and genomic frequency (SNP kb−1) similar to datasets reported in other animal genomes.

Since I tried Ludwig back in 2017, I have been constantly using it in both editing and translation. Ever since, I suggest it to my translators at ProSciEditing.
