The existence of the Universe depends on the mutual affinity of its constituents, their ability to interact with each other, thus resisting the general aspiration for evenness.
But over the course of a night, she had an evenness, even a flatness.

Certain species also deviated from the general trend of increasing richness and evenness.
In deeper areas, richness, evenness and AvTD showed a general decrease with depth from high values around 301 600 m (400 500 m stratum in Tolimieri [23]), while species density and VarTD peaked and declined at shallower depths, generally around 200 m.
The evenness of the split bodes even more negatively for the future.
In general, there was a positive linear relationship between richness and evenness, among biotopes but also within biotopes (Fig. 5a).
Poor evenness across regions with differing percentages of GC bases is a general problem for NGS itself [ 2], which directly translates into lower coverage of promoter regions and the first exon of genes as these are often GC rich.
In general, the difference in functional dispersion estimates between the total catch and different groupings was lower than for functional evenness, and many EEZs that showed large differences in functional evenness between the total catch and specific groupings did not show large differences in functional dispersion (EEZs with paler shading in Fig. 7 than in Fig. 6).
