By about 10pm I had created my own template, imported all my old entries from Blogger and uploaded a handful of photo galleries using their fantastic gallery tool.
The Gallery tool lets designers comment on their colleagues' designs, no matter whether that's an image or a video frame.
Google's Open Gallery tool makes it possible, letting anyone upload videos, images and Street View content, and then combining that with text to publish an interactive guided tour through a collection of cultural artifacts.
In general, I'm a fan of when Google puts resources into projects that have the potential to make cultural artifacts more accessible like this one, and the Open Gallery tool is far more advanced than something like an image-heavy Tumblr.

There's the galleries tool - and the ability to have an index of your photo galleries in one of the side columns of your blog (an absolute winner in my book).
Channel 4 clearly are still struggling for original ideas to bring in viewers and rely on the desperate and lonely sad fucks who will every year without fail watch this gallery of tools embarrassing themselves and the rest of the human race, if aliens visited now and saw Big Brother they no doubt would exterminate us all for the good of the universe.
