The patterns obtained for human NB (Fig. 6H) and the NB strain "nanons" maintained in FBS (Fig. 6I) also revealed similar fuzzy rings indicative of polycrystalline material.
As a further reference, diffraction patterns of the mineral precursor in bones produced amorphous diffraction patterns while more mature bone harbored both fuzzy rings and dots similar to the more crystalline patterns obtained for some of our serum granulations [67].
Due to higher signal to noise ratios, parameter estimates of the starter genes (indicated in red) were more accurate and resulted in much narrower credible intervals, as indicated by less fuzzy rings that represent respective switch probabilities.
