Nevertheless, it should be stressed that the inclusion of Pandoraviruses into the NCLDV (in other words, their membership in the proposed order Megavirales [ 10]) is strongly supported by the presence of signature genes such as the primase-helicase fusion, packaging ATPase and thiol-disulfide oxidoreductase (Table 1).
