Five antibodies, AT8, PHF-6, Tau5, pS199/202 and pS404, were selected for further analysis and tested in porcine fetal brain, porcine fetal fibroblasts and in undifferentiated and differentiated RGs.
We selected therefore 14 M.tb antigens for further analysis and tested IL-17 production in response to the antigens Rv0447, Rv1886c, Rv3019c, Rv2957, Rv2958c, Rv2962c (peptides) and the recombinant proteins Rv3804c, Rv1886c, Rv3874, Rv3875, Rv0288, Rv0754, Rv0978a and Rv1917 (see Figure 2, Table 3, Additional file 1: Table S1a-c).
Raw amplification data were exported and further analysis and statistical tests were done using Microsoft Excel 2010.
The membrane formed on the filter paper was then freeze-dried (EYELA, model FD-5N, Japan) to obtain the final product for further analysis and animal tests.
As univariate analysis was being used to guide further analysis and not to explicitly test hypotheses, correction for multiple testing was not used.
Further, direct analysis and testing of the network must be performed.
Further analysis, like testing whether some of the segregating variants are shared between different families within the same study is interesting.
This limitation is considered acceptable given the coarse resolution of this regional scale analysis and the intended purpose of the PVAHA framework as a mechanism for providing an evidence base for prioritising further analysis using tested and accepted methods of local scale hazard modelling (e.g. conventional dispersion modelling using fully 3D wind fields).
This also shows that a further analysis testing the sensitivity of different bandwidth sizes may not be necessary for comparison with the kriging method.
