According to their analysis, peer review suffers from reviewer bias, inconsistency in methods between journals, variable ability to identify fraud or falsified data, and a reluctance to publish results that show little or no effects.
MD performed simulations, analyzed the data, handled all the comments from reviewer side and compiled the paper by getting suggestions from coauthors.
Also, if the verb is stative, TAc does not show up, as seen in the SGC in 27 (27 is from reviewer 2; more such examples can be found in Zhang 张庆文 2009: 14) and the non-SGCs in 28 (Lin 2001, cited in Shu 2012: 669).
Various combinations of features engineered from reviewer profile characteristics and behavioral patterns have been studied, including work by Jindal et al. [20], Jindal et al. [21], Li et al. [9], Fei et al. [22], Mayzlin et al. [27] and Mukherjee et al. [23].
For how many years will Sunday papers continue to print sentences like this, from reviewer Dagmar Herzog: "The conclusion that Hitler 'was both very ordinary and completely extraordinary' is banal".
