American Airlines won a court order temporarily blocking Sabre Holdings from presenting its fares in a manner the carrier fears might steer customers to other airlines.
American Airlines removed its flight listings from Orbitz.com last month, when the companies could not agree on a new contract, and Delta withdrew its fares from CheapoAir.com, OneTravel.com and Bookit.com.
"American Airlines made the decision to play the role of the marketplace bully and pull its fares from Orbitz," the company said.
The airline also failed to disclose the cost of federal security fees and it did not disclose fees or taxes separately from the price of its fares on its Web site.
The study said Delta removed its fares from about two dozen travel and metasearch sites since late 2010, including TripAdvisor.com, CheapAir.com, Vegas.com, AirGorilla.com and Fly.com.com
It remains to be seen whether "The Orphanage" will temper the exceedingly brutal but profitable standards of bloodletting set by the likes of "The Hills Have Eyes" or the various "Texas Chainsaw Massacres," or if it will draw the traditional horror audience away from its gorier fare.
