The present study aimed to analyze whether PEMF stimulation (75 Hz, 1.5 mT), applied to bovine cartilage explants, derived from two different joints of the same animals, was able to counteract the catabolic effect of a high dose of IL1β.
BMES is known to migrate between different joints of the same limb or different limbs (migratory osteoporosis, migrating BMES) [ 6].
Data suggest that patterns of inflammatory infiltrate are relatively stable over time and common to tissues from different joints from the same patient, including unaffected joints, suggesting that they may reflect true disease variants [ 6, 7].
Interestingly, in the individual patients with RA, the pattern of lymphocytic infiltration was found to persist unaltered over time, and showed similar features in all biopsies taken from different joints at the same type [ 20].

DNA of Borrelia bavariensis was detected by PCR in 2 aspirates obtained from different joints.
These data suggest that the inflammatory process that drives the transition of synoviocytes to invasive FLSs is similar in different joints taken from the same patient.
