'freudian slip' is a correct and usable phrase in written English
A Freudian slip is a phrase coined by Sigmund Freud to describe an unintentional error, usually caused by the unconscious mind. For example, John accidentally said "I hate you" instead of "I love you" - this was probably a Freudian slip.
