In contrast to the global Lpcat3 knockout mice, L-Lpcat3 mice were born at the expected Mendelian frequency, survived to adulthood, and appeared (at least by external inspection) to be indistinguishable from control (homozygous floxed, Cre-negative) mice (Table 2 and data not shown).
