For tonal sounds we compiled information on the most used acoustic parameters: absolute and mean minimum frequency, absolute and mean maximum frequency, duration, and mean number of inflection points.
We also tested the relationship between tonal sound frequency and complexity [mean number of inflection points] and tonal sound duration using the independent contrast method.
At least for mobile protein solutions, the dispersion relation is generally Lorentzian, and the dispersion inflection frequency of water 1H, 2H, and 17O nuclei has been shown to correspond to τR, the rotational correlation time of the protein molecule [26], [28], [29].
