Several studies have failed to demonstrate any influence on the frequency of systemic dissemination.
Importantly, Mena deficiency in the PyMT mouse breast cancer model suppresses intravasation, eliminates mortality and morbidity, and greatly reduces the frequency of metastatic dissemination to the lung [ 10].
To test this hypothesis we followed M. marinum hindbrain infection for 24 hours and evaluated the frequency of infection dissemination in cxcr3.2 +/+ and cxcr3.2 −/− zebrafish embryos.
