Based on training and testing 93 sets of measured data in an open-pit mine, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest (RF) methods are applied to predict the peak particle velocity (PPV), first dominant frequency and duration time of first dominant frequency of blasting vibration.
Even when taking the pro-apoptotic effects of ex vivo handling of B-ALL blasts and the potentially hostile xeno-environment in the mice into account, the frequency of blasts with leukaemia-propagating potential should be high and equal in the different populations.
This study confirms that in many B-ALL patients, the frequency of blasts that are able to contribute to and re-grow the leukaemia is likely to be high and that the ability for clonal expansion may not be limited to a rare stem-like population.
This suggests that in patients where there is no xenograft barrier and no ex vivo manipulation the frequency of blasts that are able to contribute to and re-grow the leukaemia is likely to be higher than that assessed in a xeno-environment.
However, low frequencies of BLAST hits to distantly related taxonomic groups are common in such transcriptome sequencing studies and are often attributable to factors other than contaminant RNA, e.g. these sequences could be short contigs containing little information, genes that have not been well characterized in plants, or novel Z. celata genes.
As exemplified in the Additional file 1, the frequency distribution of BLAST similarity scores obtained between M. tuberculosis and M. kansasii was non-Gaussian, with a right skew.
Blast populations 1 and 2 from sample UHN_0577 were refractory to etoposide-mediated apoptosis although both populations exhibited DDR, albeit to different magnitudes as seen by the frequencies of blasts with increased phosphorylation of p-Chk2 (Figure 6A, Table S5).
As expected, the emu sequences had the highest frequency of significant BLAST hits (~50%) to the chicken genome.
Despite the high temporal and sequence divergence of comparisons in our study, the relative frequency of significant BLAST hits for both single sequence BACs and PBHs is consistent with the relative divergence times of the alligator, turtle and emu from chicken.
The results indicate that if the delay interval is <20 ms or >50 ms, a large amount of energy is distributed in the resonant frequency band of the slope; with optimized delay interval of 20 25 ms and 45 50 ms, the low-frequency compositions of blast vibrations are considerably fewer, and spectral control can be implemented more effectively.
