Model 2 was adjusted for lifestyle-related factors, including smoking status, drinking frequency, education levels, occupation, physical activity, daily energy intakes, and protein intakes in addition to the variables in model 1.
In our study, grip strength differed significantly between participants with and those without hyperuricemia (geometric mean and 95% CI: 40.3 [39.2–41.3] kg vs. 41.9 [41.3–42.5] kg; P = 0.01) after adjustment for age, BMI, smoking status, drinking frequency, education levels, occupation, physical activity, daily energy and protein intakes, metabolic syndrome, depressive symptoms, eGFR, and hs-CRP.
There was no statistically significant difference between the migraine groups in headache localization, headache duration, visual analog score, headache frequency, medication, education level, or smoking habits (Table 1).
The content and frequency of education as well as educational methods all require further study.
The findings of these studies will help to determine the optimal contact time and frequency of education sessions required to sustain improvements to clinical outcomes through self management.
