In the frame of risk assessment, mixed in silico/in vitro approaches already proved to be effective first-line analytical tools.
These findings extend the notion that DLPFC activity is critical for risk decision-making, indicating an asymmetric role of the right DLPFC in the gain frame vs. the loss frame of risk decision-making.
This is vital in order to avoid the non-transparent framing of risk and benefit information, and the associated consequences of unintended or intended manipulation of risk information [ 11, 12].
