The mother wasps, founders of the future colonies, are now busily house-hunting, town-planning, wood-pulp paper-making, or hunting for food for their first hungry infants.
Founders Forum has ramped up its activity in the past year starting a blistering array of new initiatives, including "Founders of the Future", a diverse community of young people aged 16-35 selected from across Europe using artificial intelligence and peer recommendations.
He was proud to be associated with this recognition of the founder of the future of the world.
"Trends aren't transmitted hierarchically, as they used to be," explains Martin Raymond, co-founder of The Future Laboratory, a trend forecasting company.
But, said Joel Burslem, founder of the Future of Real Estate Marketing blog and a marketer for Inman News, "any crisis holds opportunities for entrepreneurs".
"It's survival of the fittest," said Esther Dormer, a founder of the Future Fund, a venture capital firm, who bought the place 11 years ago as a second home with her husband, Brian Dormer, an airline pilot.
"We are reaching the nadir of the current fashion-season cycle and it is about to fall apart," says Chris Sanderson, co-founder of the Future Laboratory, a British-based trend forecasting consultancy.
Eventually, Bell was entrusted by the British government, on the basis of her unparalleled knowledge of the region, to sketch out what she describes as "a reasonable border" between Iraq and the territory controlled by Ibn Saud, the founder of the future Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
On Friday at 7 p.m., Chris Milk, a video director represented in the show who has created videos for Kanye West, Norah Jones and others will talk about his work with Charles Melcher, founder of the Future of Storytelling Summit and Melcher Media; the talk is free.
"Snapchat would be the first social media company that has developed a profit center that is really intended to scale through lots of individual users, rather than selling services or products to companies," said Amy Webb, founder of the Future Today Institute.
She is also co-founder of the Future of Life Institute.
