Two of the biggest challenges faced by startup founders anywhere in the world are — getting early users, customers and raising money from investors to fund growth, experiments.
The program, which gives founders anywhere from $25,000 to $100,000 in seed capital, was lured to the area from nearby Arlington thanks to a $100,000 grant from D.C. Mayor Vicent Gray.
Those looking to book time aren't required to be in San Francisco, you can chat with the founders from anywhere in the world.
"In all major cities in the U.S., specifically New York and LA, most development that's happening is getting rid of the lots and building high rises," says Robert Kao, founder of Valet Anywhere.
For he was the most cosmopolitan of the founders, at home anywhere.
And none of the founders are now anywhere near managing the company: within a few years of it getting off the ground, they'd all been cleared out for managers from big business.

The size of the fund will be $10 million (coming from Accel and Founders Fund) with anywhere between $25 to $250 thousand in grants available for each selected startup dedicated to developing Facebook applications.
In an interview, Mihir Shukla, CEO and Co-Founder at Automation Anywhere, said that while what happened to Khashoggi was "not acceptable," his conversations started with SoftBank before that and they did not impact the startup's decision over whether to work with the Fund.
"They will open the door to true telepresence, where people can visit anyone, anywhere," the founders said.
