For monitoring and improving soil quality in Europe, many national actions are ongoing, and the sharing of experiences, and the improvement of European-level knowledge about soil condition, and management supports regions with less progress, but also helps to improve the future formulation of actions at European level in a cooperative design.
Participation in formal community groups (e.g., church or women's groups) and informal local networks (e.g., neighbours, families) provides opportunities for critical dialogue about HIV/AIDS, often facilitating renegotiation of harmful social norms, sharing of previously hidden personal experiences of HIV/AIDS, formulation of positive action plans and solidarity to action them.
58 The NCSCT offers an online brief advice module, which increases the frequency and quality of smoking brief interventions, 59 while training on the formulation of specific action plans increases the rate of asking about smoking; 60 future research could assess whether such advice modules and action plans have a similar effect on alcohol brief intervention.
And that has been facilitated through all the policy discussions and debates that we have had with member states in the formulation of this action plan.
Specifically, we propose three basic practical uses for these tools: the formulation of general action plans at a regional level, the definition of short-term strategies for destinations and the establishment of destination benchmarking practices.
This should help, in turn, in the formulation of local action plans in the form of development activities/projects/programmes.
These include group-based opportunities for critical dialogue, facilitating a renegotiation of harmful social norms, sharing of experiences, and the formulation of social action plans and solidarity [ 15, 16].
Table 1 shows the percentages of comments in response to the seven questions on the assessment form (Additional file 1: Table S1), showing that reflection occurred less often than feedback and explicit formulation of an action plan was rare.
The way the assessment form was introduced and the availability of the online manual appear to have been inadequate to achieve reflective behaviour for all trainees and formulation of an action plan on a significant proportion of forms.
