In the central African region, the degree of inter-form divergence appears to be highest and coincident with no reported MS hybrids (della Torre et al. 2005; Simard et al. 2009), although there is evidence for at least sporadic recent gene flow (Etang et al. 2009; Weetman et al. 2012).
