In this study, both R. aurora occurrence and breeding abundance had strong to very strong associations with all three forest-linked variables measured around wetlands that R. aurora utilized for breeding: the percentage of undeveloped upland forest habitat; the forested perimeter around the wetland; and the connectivity of that forest to the breeding wetland.
