The uncertainty of the forecasted day-ahead load demand and electricity price is also taken into account with a scenario-based approach.
By utilizing the forecasted day-ahead data and real-time data, we can compare the control outcomes under the two different scenarios.
The ambient temperature, electricity purchase price, and selling price for a typical summer day in Sydney [30, 31] are shown in Fig. 6, which is used for the forecasted day-ahead data in our research.
The average gap between the AR(1) forecasted path of day trips and the actual path of day trips is also 24%%, but only once we adjust the forecast downwards to better account for the sudden rise of homicides after 2008.
