Although many have argued that patient satisfaction is insufficiently defined [ 11, 16, 19], satisfaction is widely assessed in several aspects of health care; in the health system as a whole, in specific areas of health care i.e. general practice, in specific health care organisations such as hospital units, for specific clinicians, and for specific treatment approaches [ 11].
