The free vibration frequencies in positive and negative half cycles are found to be same for all asymmetric modes and for axisymmetric modes with even number of axial half waves, and different for axisymmetric modes with odd number of axial half waves.
In Figure 11 we present the result of the mode filtering for modes nos., (mode with very low energy), and (the mode with the highest energy).
In Figure 5, these oscillations are larger for solid lines showing that partial reflections could be larger for wave modes with larger c x and longer λ z.
With fixed receiver depths, low BERs (less than 1%) are achieved at ranges up to 400 km with three hydrophones for mode 1 with 90% probability and with 34 hydrophones for mode 20 with 80% probability.
Unlike other shaper the proposed reduction in the sensitivity can be implemented for all modes with no added complexity.
The filters are designed to operate on an arbitrary command input signal to ensure a finite settling time for system modes with known natural frequency and damping ratio.

Decreases in OGW drag amplitudes with altitude are larger for SPW modes with higher m in the left panels of Fig. 7a.
At last, the novel strategy, CO2 continuous injection with dissolved CO2-soluble surfactant, was conducted for both modes with variable perforations.
