After the district approved a ballot initiative in 2008, for example, it began rewarding schools monetarily for improved test scores — a compromise, but not quite the merit pay for teachers that the Obama administration has pushed for.
Our findings highlight the substantial limitations of available diagnostic tests for infectious diseases and the need for improved tests and novel approaches to identify infectious disease agents.
We suggest that within-habitat patchiness, as well as model assumptions, should be further investigated for improved tests of the RDH in the future.
Consequently, there is an urgent need for improved test systems that have the capacity to predict toxicity in a human-specific manner and in an early phase of drug development.

Improved testing for EDCs: Validated screening and testing systems have been developed by a number of governments, and it requires considerable time and effort to ensure that these systems function properly.
Nonetheless, it is clear that new improved testing strategies for celiac disease appropriate for application in the general or select populations are required.
After that, gender equity -- as measured by the World Economic Forum and Social Watch -- is the only factor they studied that's positively correlated with improved test scores for girls and for boys.
