Iranian President Hassan Rouhani spent five days in New York, culminating his speech during the opening of the United Nations General Assembly on Monday, in which he repeatedly stressed the need for implementing the nuclear agreement.
The financial framework for implementing the climate agreement has also been staked out: from 2020 100 billion USD per year is to be made available from different sources to support climate action in developing countries.
Two weeks ago, Serbia agreed to recognise Kosovo's sovereignty for the first time, but implementing the agreement is fraught with difficulties due to opposition from some of the Serb minority inside Kosovo.
President Hassan Rouhani, who is visiting New York to speak at the UN general assembly next week, said at a meeting with journalists and media executives on Friday that "conditions were ripe" for his administration to start implementing the agreement, struck in Vienna in July, by the end of the year.
Over 190 nations are meeting this week in Marrakesh, Morocco, to work out details for implementing the Paris climate agreement, an accord reached in December 2015 that entered into force just five days ago following ratification by the United States, China, India and 100 other nations.
"What's difficult is hammering out the details and then implementing the agreement.
Mr Cameron said what mattered was implementing the agreement.
For these and other reasons, Clinton concluded, "I don't see Iran as our partner in implementing the agreement".
