We outline a process for identifying policy-relevant attributes of wellbeing that can guide ecosystem assessments.
This analysis demonstrates that the domains of Pocock and Phua's framework for identifying policy-relevant implications of the medical tourism sector provide a useful common reference point for exploring the development of medical tourism in new contexts.
The three exercises elicited the priorities voiced by policymakers and stakeholders from the public sector, academia, the non-state sector, and health professional associations in addition to pharmaceutical companies and insurance organizations for the ATM theme (Refer to Table 1 for identified policy relevant priorities matched to the second and third exercises which were conducted in the EMR).
