Results were similar for an expanded sample (Fig. 1) including nine subjects with 'probable' de novo origin of 22q11.2 deletion (RR = 0.47, 95% CI = 0.25 0.91; P = 0.014).
Since the variation in expert opinions was greatest in the first study round, encompassing the whole spectrum of possible ratings from 1 to 4, the results from the first survey round were utilized as the basis for computer generation of the expanded samples.
