Only coefficients for dummy variables for proficiency levels three and above are significantly different from zero, while wage returns for individuals scoring at levels zero, one, and two are indistinguishable.
However from an international comparative perspective it might be of interest to further understand why some countries show rather homogenous patterns of strengths and weaknesses for all students regardless of the proficiency levels, whereas in other countries the subject-specific strengths and weaknesses differ between low and high-achieving students.
