Despite the absence of more direct methods of CNS ischemia demonstration, the suggestion that ischemia ensued in phase T2 (IAP 20 mmHg) was reinforced by the observation in phase T3 (IAP 45 mmHg): CNS perfusion pressures increased more than the ischemia threshold of 60 mmHg, which was followed by a decrease in all ischemia indicators, irrespective of the presence of even higher IAP.
